Charity work Empty
PostSubject: Charity work   Charity work EmptyThu Apr 22, 2010 1:08 pm

Anyone been good to do any charity work lately?

I`m with a community/charity club, ,so maybe you can suggest to me some ideas on what to do. Here are some plans to be done before I retire as President:

1. Help out an orphanage. Games, motivational talks, leadership workshops and a short party.
2. Charity sales for the SPCA of course.
3. Dare to dream campaign for school students (and also college/uni if necessary).
4. Speech workshop.

It`s always been charity sales for the SPCA, so I`m trying to come up with new projects to make an impact towards the community. Please give me some suggestions Very Happy

Some projects to be launched by my board of directors:
1. Help out an old folks home.
2. E-Couselling sessions :

What about a community cooking competition, all the left over food goes to the hungry and prize money to the winner, 50% of all takings goes to the charity of your choice.

I`ll hand over my post on 14th July.

My final project would be a beach clean up and a turtle awareness programme.
Might invite some clubs from Singapore as well.

The orphanage trip was a blast. Even visited mentally challenged kids. Then went to SPCA to clean up
